Welcome to Bawa Yaar Mohammad Fellowship (BYMF)

“Come, come, whoever you are. Wanderer, worshiper, lover of leaving. It doesn’t matter. Ours is not a caravan of despair. Come, even if you have broken your vows a thousand times. Come, yet again, come, come.” Rumi

May the Peace and Blessings of the Almighty God be upon you. Our fellowship aims to spread Bawa's message of universal love and provide the seeker with simple, practical guidance to access the path of self-discovery using Sufi wisdom applied in a contemporary context.

We believe in rising above our differences and seeing the uniqueness and oneness in God's creation, to help humanity realize and recognize their true potential.

We believe in taking action to raise public awareness to address some of the most pressing issues facing today’s society. Please join us, and help yourself and others by supporting our efforts to make a measurable difference in the lives of others.

About us

“Live a fulfilled life, but living in the world, don’t become of it. Live like a lotus flower, it lives in water, but it stands clear of the water” - Bawa Yaar Mohammad
Bawa Yaar Mohammad (RA) practiced the Sufi path of Islam. He spent twenty-three years in the Dargah of Hazrath Khawaja Moinuddin Chisty (RA) of Ajmer, India, perfecting his inner development. His message of serving humanity and spreading universal love has traveled far and wide through his disciples and followers. He called upon people to strive for self-awareness that opens the door to God-consciousness. His vision was to enable every human to achieve a fulfilled life of love, peace, and joy irrespective of their circumstances. Bawa saw the world as a showcase of divine beauty where everything in our world manifests God’s peace, light, and grace.

Here at the Fellowship, we know that sometimes all it takes to change our world is a little support. The core of our efforts is to bring Bawa’s wisdom and guidance to lead spiritually fulfilled lives to everyone. Through all of our endeavours, we hope to display the conviction behind our beliefs.

Ways We Help

Raising Awareness, Sharing and Caring

Meditation and Contemplation (Dhikr)

Our goal is to promote online and face-to-face opportunities for meditation and contemplation (Dhikr) with this initiative. Bawa recommended a minimum daily time equivalent to a person’s age in minutes for contemplation. For e.g., if you are forty years old, it is recommended that you spend at least forty minutes per day in Dhikr.

Alleviating food poverty

Our goal is to help in whatever way we can to alleviate hunger and food poverty in our communities. We do so by providing free kitchens (Langar) and contributing to established local food banks. This work is vital given the current cost of living crisis and the increasing number of families and children who are reliant on food banks.

Healing and Spiritual Care

Our goal is to address the deteriorating mental and spiritual health of our society. We believe in creating spiritual healing through our individual and community work. Spiritual cleansing is achieved by prescribed listening of holy verses, energy medicine therapy and expiatory measures such as Sadaqah (charity) and forgiveness. We invite you to learn more and lend your support.
